Wentworth Institute of Technology has announced that Michael J. Carragher, President and CEO of VHB, and Maya Rogers, President and CEO of Tetris, will deliver the keynote addresses at the university’s two Summer Commencement ceremonies on Thursday, August 14. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology’s underwater robotics team, WUROV, concluded a successful 2024-2025 season, earning a prestigious individual award at the MATE ROV World Championship, which was held last week in Alpena, Michigan. 

A team of Wentworth Institute of Technology Graduate Architecture students won first place in the 25th Annual Affordable Housing Design and Development Competition. Charles Bale, M.Arch. '25, Emma Perry, M.Arch. '26, and Maddie Tirado, M.Arch. '25, were part of a collaborative, inter-institutional team that developed a winning proposal to transform a historic Boston high school into affordable senior housing. 

With access to new, cutting-edge capabilities, things are looking up for Wentworth Institute of Technology Assistant Professor of Physics Ben Boe and his students. Literally.  

A special issue of Technical Communication Quarterly (TCQ) featuring a contribution from Wentworth Institute of Technology Associate Professor Juval Racelis has received the prestigious 2025 Nell Ann Pickett Award.

CJ McLaughlin does not have a traditional 9-5 job. As a professional NASCAR driver, his career path is fueled by passion, perseverance, and the practical skills honed during his time at Wentworth Institute of Technology.

For Electromechanical Engineering student Maggie McCann, the magic of Walt Disney World isn't just about fairy tales and fantasy; it’s about the intricate engineering that brings those worlds to life. During her Spring 2025 co-op, McCann went behind the scenes as a Show Mechanical Engineering Intern, contributing to one of the parks' most iconic features: Audio-Animatronic figures. 

This morning, a Wentworth Institute of Technology student might be helping to swap out anesthesia machines in a Massachusetts General Hospital operating room. Another could be redesigning the user interface for a global financial trading application at State Street. A third is potentially running tests on the next best-selling air fryer for SharkNinja. 

Stephanie Crepeau, a 2017 Construction Management graduate from Wentworth Institute of Technology, is not just building structures; she's building a reputation as a dynamic leader in a demanding industry.

Wentworth Institute of Technology is taking innovative steps to make STEM majors more accessible by introducing a new foundational math course, as recently reported by Inside Higher Ed.
