  • Rose Conti, BCN'92, ABC '09, BCM '12, Chair
    Vice President, Lee Kennedy Company

    For over thirty-five years Rose Conti has worked in the Greater Boston construction industry. Rose is the Vice President for Lee Kennedy Company, a Quincy-based construction management firm founded in 1978 whose volume last year was $255 million. In this role, she is responsible for the renovation and building infrastructure projects of all sizes in the corporate, academic, life sciences, bio-medical, and non-profit groups.

    Prior to joining Lee Kennedy Company, Rose’s career has advanced from being an assistant project manager, a project manager, owner’s representative, project executive and director almost exclusively in the tenant interiors area. Philosophically, Rose follows the dictum, “At the end of the day, my clients are all that matter. Treating them well will always pay off in the long run, and it is a long run.”

    Rose has been educating herself on a life-long basis, previously attending certificate programs at WIT for eight years. In the spring of 2012, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. She earned an associate’s degree in Building Construction in 2009. Prior to studies at Wentworth, she attended Burdett School, Regis College, and Simmons College School of Management. Rose has an unrestricted MA Builder’s license, is CM-LEAN accredited, is OSHA trained, and CPR/AED certified.

    Rose is Past President of the Wentworth Alumni Association. She served as President for two years; she has served as Director, Second Vice President, First Vice President and chairs the golf committee. She is on the Women@Wentworth programming committee. She was the inaugural Chair Wentworth’s University Advisors. She was elected to Wentworth Board of Trustees in 2020 and previously served as the Treasurer and Chair of the Resources Committee followed by Vice Chair of the Board. Rose was elected as Wentworth’s first woman Chair of the Board of Trustees in 2024. She has also been active in the United Way, Patriot’s Trail Girl Scouts, DARE and STAR programs in Burlington, MA, as well as NAWIC (President 2002-03), NEWIRE, IFMA, CoreNet and AGC. Rose is the proud recipient of the 2008 Wentworth Woman of the Year Award, 2015 Wentworth Distinguished Alumni Award, and 2017 Wentworth Gold Leopard Award.

  • Douglas (Doug) J. Karam, Vice Chair
    President KVAssociates, Inc. 

    Headshot of Douglas KaramDoug Karam is Founder and President of KVAssociates, a Boston-based construction consulting firm that provides owner’s project management services to building owners, government entities, and private institutions. With over 35 years of experience and industry knowledge, Mr. Karam successfully manages a variety of building programs by providing leadership and guidance to design and construction teams. With a focus on healthcare, life science, research, academic, residential, hospitality, and commercial construction projects, Mr. Karam takes pride in building long-term relationships as well as buildings. Prior to founding KVA in 1990, Mr. Karam worked at Turner Construction Company and Spaulding & Slye. He is a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and a past board member of the Salem Historical Commission.

    Mr. Karam received a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Engineering Technology from Wentworth in 1983 and is a strong supporter of Wentworth’s mentoring program.

    Mr. Karam was elected to the Wentworth Corporation in 2012 and to the Board of Trustees in 2014 and currently serves on the Facilities, Long Range Planning, and Academic Affairs committees.

  • Travis McCready, Treasurer
    Executive Director/National Practice Leader, US Life Sciences Markets, Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL)

    Travis McCready is executive director and national practice leader for Jones Lang Lasalle’s (JLL) Life Sciences Industry Practice.

    He heads JLL’s real estate markets efforts, including brokerage, capital markets, advisory and analytics, project and development services, and valuation for life sciences developers and investors across the United States. He has more than 25 years’ experience leading public, private, and nonprofit ventures, with a focus on technology and innovation-based economic development.

    McCready is the former president and CEO of the $1.6 billion life sciences funding agency, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, and an advisor and board member of TMA Precision Health, a rare disease diagnostics company, and of SimpliFed, a microbiome-based infant nutrition company.

    He co-chairs the Academic Institute Advisory Board at Atrius Health, the largest independent physician-led healthcare organization in the Northeast. He serves on the boards of business accelerators MassChallenge and Lever, and of the wet lab incubator MBI.

    McCready sits on the boards of WGBH and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, has served on the Economic Development Planning Council under three Massachusetts governors, and been appointed to state and national initiatives ranging from the arts to advanced manufacturing.

    A native of New York City, Travis received his B.A. from Yale University, and J.D. from the University of Iowa.

  • Rick Grundy, '03, '21 (Hon.), Secretary
    President and COO of AVTECH Software, Inc.

    Rick Grundy

    Rick Grundy joined AVTECH in 2001 as a Wentworth co-op student, then full time as Product Development Manager and rose through several engineering and management roles, becoming President & COO in December 2015. He manages day-to-day operations of the business, including strategic planning, product engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management. AVTECH celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2018 by opening its first international distribution facility in Ireland, opened a sales office in Dubai in 2020, and is proud to have products in 187 countries around the world.

    Rick led the acquisition of a standalone manufacturing operation based in Pennsylvania in 2019. Mirian Solutions, Inc. provides contract manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics services supporting the growth of AVTECH and other customers in various industries across the country. Following the retirement of AVTECH’s founder in 2024, Rick is now the principal owner of AVTECH and its related entities.

    Rick graduated summa cum laude from the computer science program at Wentworth Institute of Technology, with additional concentrations in mechanical and electrical engineering. Rick served as the Vice President of Governance on the Board of Directors for the Wentworth Alumni Association and led the University Advisers’ program as Chair. He joined the Wentworth Board of Trustees in 2021 in an ex officio capacity as Chair of the University Advisors and was later elected to the Board in 2023. Rick is serving on the Executive Committee, Compensation Committee, Inclusive Excellence Committee and is the Chair of the Trusteeship and Governance Committee. He was elected Secretary of the Board in 2024. He received an honorary doctorate degree from Wentworth in 2021 on the occasion of his commencement address to the graduating class that year.

  • Mark A. Thompson, PhD., President
    Wentworth Institute of Technology

    Mark A. Thompson, Ph.D., became the fifth president of Wentworth Institute of Technology on June 1, 2019.

    His career in higher education spans more than 25 years—from teaching and advising students at Marshall University and Morehouse College to serving in senior-administration roles at Quinnipiac University.

    Thompson was at Quinnipiac for 21 years (beginning in 1998) before accepting the presidency at Wentworth. He served there as associate dean of the school of business and later as executive vice president and provost. Among other accomplishments at Quinnipiac, Thompson led the establishment of engineering and medical schools. He earned a reputation as a popular advocate for students and valued, progressive member of the university community.

    Earlier in his career, Thompson directed the Center for Business and Economic Research and was an assistant professor of economics at Marshall University’s Elizabeth McDowell Lewis College of Business.

    He has a bachelor’s degree in economics-finance from Bentley University, an M.B.A. from Western New England University, and Ph.D. in economics from Georgia State University.

    His expertise includes urban and regional economics, and economic development. He has worked on regional economic initiatives with many private and public constituents and, as part of those efforts, completed more than 100 technical reports—ranging from economic impact assessments and strategic plans, to feasibility studies and business proposals.

    Thompson’s academic research has focused on the consequences of residential housing segregation, issues related to labor market discrimination and assessing the impact of intellectual property rights on the economic growth rates of developing countries. His work appears in academic journals including Economic Development QuarterlyJournal of Economic DevelopmentJournal of Enterprising Culture and Journal of Economics and Finance.

    He has also written a book chapter under a grant from the Russell Sage Foundation and made numerous conference presentations.

    Born in Providence, Thompson lived in Pawtucket and Barrington, R.I., as a child. His family moved to Eastham, Mass., when he was in the 5th grade.

    He is married to Karyn Thompson, an early childhood educator with a master’s degree as a reading specialist. She worked in public schools, had her own nursery school and taught a freshman seminar at Quinnipiac. The couple has two daughters: Elizabeth, a social worker in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Kathryn, a teacher’s assistant at Kennedy Day School in Brighton, Mass., who in the fall of 2019 began working toward her master’s degree in social work at Simmons University.

  • Noelle Benavides ‘19
    Sr. Agile Project Manager, Foundation Medicine

    Noelle Benavides Noelle Benavides is currently a Senior Project Manager at Foundation Medicine, Inc., a world-leading molecular insights company specializing in providing patients, physicians and researchers with a deep understanding of the genomic mutations that drive cancer. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing and building the strategic portfolio for operations while leading multiple international teams to ensure streamlined functioning of clinical laboratories while meeting regulatory standards.  

    Ms. Benavides is a recent alumnae of Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering. During her time at Wentworth, Noelle most notably served as a Senior Resident Assistant, Student Admissions Ambassador, Student Representative on the Presidential Search Committee and the 2019 Summer Commencement Student Speaker.  

    In 2022, Noelle Benavides was elected to Wentworth's Board of Trustees as the inaugural Recent Alumni Trustee position and currently serves on the Academic and Student Affairs Committee and the Audit Committee. Ms. Benavides' civic involvement includes serving as a founding board member on the Emerging Leaders of the Boston Public Library Fund.  

  • David C. Blittersdorf, ’77, ’14 (Hon.)
    President and Chief Executive Officer, AllEarth Renewables, Inc.

    David Blittersdorf, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AllEarth Renewables, a company he founded that designs and manufactures grid-tied solar PV tracking systems. AllEarth Renewables manufacturers the dual-axis AllSun Tracker, an affordable, complete grid-connected solar electric system that produces up to 45% more energy than fixed rooftop systems, and which is currently sold in 30 states via a national network of dealer-installers. In 1982 when the wind industry was in its infancy, Mr. Blittersdorf founded NRG Systems, his first entrepreneurial venture that grew into an internationally recognized leader in wind measurement technology. Twenty-two years later, Mr. Blittersdorf stepped down as CEO of NRG Systems to kick-off his second entrepreneurial venture at AllEarth Renewables.

    Mr. Blittersdorf volunteers his time to organizations connected with renewable energy, education, and preparing for a post-peak-oil world. He serves in leadership roles and as a member of several boards and advisory groups, including the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas – USA, the Union of Concerned Scientists, Renewable Energy Vermont, the University of Vermont’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, and the SUNY-Canton Engineering School, among others.

    Mr. Blittersdorf received an associate’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering Technology from Wentworth in 1977 and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont in 1981. He gave the summer commencement address in 2014 when he received an honorary doctorate degree from Wentworth. He was elected to the Wentworth Corporation in 2013. He is currently serving on the Academic Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees.

  • Anthony Bond, MSCM ’12
    CEO & President, BOND Brothers, Inc. 

    Anthony Bond As CEO & President, Tony oversees the strategic direction and long-term growth of the entire BOND Family of Companies. Tony has shown tremendous leadership in developing BOND’s Connecticut and New York City offices as well as extending the firm’s reach to the Mid-Atlantic markets. In addition, he has most recently expanded the BOND brand with the opening of BOND’s newest venture, BOND Mechanical Construction. Being a fifth generation Bond, Tony has grown up in the construction industry and has many years of hands-on construction experience concentrating on complex logistics for clients in the power & energy markets as well as having worked in the academic and corporate spaces. Having worked his way through multiple roles in the company, Tony is highly efficient and responsive in navigating technical and business issues and working with clients to find the best solutions. His focus on safety, client satisfaction and people development continue to promote the legacy of the firm that has endured for many generations. Tony holds a Master of Science in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and was named one of ENR New England’s Top Young Professionals for 2015. 

  • Lloyd Carney, EEE’82, EE’84, DET ’13 (Hon.)
    Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Carney Global Ventures

    Lloyd Carney Lloyd Carney, EEE’82, EE’84, DET ’13 (Hon.) (California) is the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Carney Global Ventures.  He also serves as President of the Lloyd and Carole Carney Foundation, and is a Board of Director Member of Visa Inc. Carney is a Chancellor at the University of Technology, Jamaica, and he serves as an Ambassador for Technology for the country of Jamaica. 

    He was the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., which had served as an industry leader in providing reliable, high-performance network solutions. He served in that position from 2013 through late November 2017 when Brocade was acquired by Broadcom. He has built a distinguished career during his thirty years in the high-tech industry including several senior leadership positions at various networking and semiconductor companies. Mr. Carney was responsible for executing Brocade’s vision and strategy to lead the networking industry through its next phase of evolution that is defined by data center virtualization, cloud computing, and software networking.

    Before joining Brocade, Mr. Carney was Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors at Xsigo Systems, a technology leader in the data center virtualization market with solutions for cloud computing and software-defined networking. Previously, Mr. Carney was Chief Executive Officer of Micromuse, Inc., a networking management software company that became an integral part of the IBM Tivoli framework. Mr. Carney also has extensive experience in the IP networking industry. He served as the Chief Operating Officer at Juniper Networks where he oversaw the engineering, product management and manufacturing divisions. Mr. Carney also served as president of the Core IP, Wireless Internet and the Enterprise divisions at Nortel Networks, which generated multi-billion dollars in revenue. Before this, Mr. Carney was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Business Unit at Bay Networks. 

    Mr. Carney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Wentworth and a Master of Science degree in Applied Business Management from Lesley College. Mr. Carney received an honorary doctorate from Wentworth in August 2013 when he delivered the summer Commencement address. Mr. Carney served on the Wentworth Board of Trustees from 2018 through 2020 and returned to Wentworth's Board in December 2023.
     

  • Michael J. Carragher
    President & CEO, VHB 

    Mike CarragherIn his eight years as CEO, Mike has established himself as a visionary leader with a passion for advancing not only VHB, but the entire AEC industry as together we face unprecedented opportunities and challenges, from diversifying our workforce to advancing more sustainable, equitable communities. VHB’s first non-founder president, Mike has steered the company through a transformational period of strategic growth, geographic expansion, and technological advancement. Known for his personable style and enthusiastic pursuit of excellence, Mike inspires VHB’s diverse team of 2,000 engineers, scientists, planners, and designers to continually raise the bar by embracing new technologies and finding innovative solutions to our clients’ complex challenges. He reminds us that at the heart of our work, we are making our communities and our world a better place, one project at a time. The outcomes of VHB’s efforts over the past eight years include a doubling of firm revenues and continuous increases in profitability.

    As he sets the course for the sustained success of VHB’s generational company, Mike’s commitment to continuously strengthening the firm’s differentiating culture and values is evident in everything he does.

    Recognizing a need for a cultural shift, Mike is helping to ignite the conversation around diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the AEC industry. Through his leadership role in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Design Professionals Council (DPC), Mike is a tireless and vocal advocate for advancing diversity in the workplace and creating more inclusive environments.

    Throughout his career, Mike has had the opportunity to help enhance our nation’s cities by working on some of the most complex mobility challenges, including highway and multimodal systems in Boston; Philadelphia; New York; Washington, DC; and Orlando.

    During his 25 years at VHB, Mike founded and helped build the firm’s transit and rail practice, directed the company’s transportation practice, helped establish the Tysons office in Virginia, and led VHB’s emergence as a premier integrated services consultant in Florida.

    Mike is active in numerous professional associations, including ACEC, the ACEC Research Institute Board of Directors (Chair), and the ACEC DPC Executive Committee; Women’s Transportation Seminar; Design-Build Institute of America; American Public Transportation Association; American Society of Civil Engineers; and the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association. He previously served as Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware, his alma mater.

    Mike resides in Boston with his wife Joan. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. 

  • David Chang 
    GM, Expert Network at Hunt Club

    David Chang is GM, Expert Network at Hunt Club and Founding Member at TBD Angels. As an entrepreneur, he has held operating roles at 6 internet/mobile startups that raised $150m and were acquired for $750m, and he has invested in 100 companies as an angel investor. He was previously the CEO of Gradifi (E*TRADE), EIR at Harvard Business School, and Director of the Babson Summer Venture Program.

    David played product and marketing roles at 5 other Boston-based startups. He led PayPal Boston, co-founded the Start Tank innovation space, and held roles at Tripadvisor (IAC), m-Qube (Verisign), edocs (Siebel), SnapMyLife (Exclaim Mobility), and Goldman Sachs.

    As a leader in the entrepreneurship community, he evangelizes startups, talent, and the Boston tech ecosystem. Awards include The Boston Globe's Tech Power Players 50, Boston Business Journal's Power 50: Most Influential Bostonians, BostInno’s 50 on Fire: Education Winner / Investment Winner / Tech Finalist, Finalist for NEVY Angel of the Year and Startup Boston Community Builder of the Year.

    David holds a BS with Distinction in Computer Science from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. David was elected to Wentworth’s Board of Trustees in May 2024. 
     

  • Paul Chrestensen
    Co-Founder and former President of Innovata

    Paul Chrestensen is a Co-Founder and former President of Innovata, which provides on-line information retrieval services on a contract or fee basis. Innovata LLC was acquired in 2014 by Reed Elsevier, a world leading information group, where it now sits within the Flightglobal unit. Innovata powers timetable and mapping services for some of the best-known names in air travel and transportation, from the global airline alliances through to airports and a host of online travel sites. The Innovata database covers flights for over 800 carriers that make up the worldwide scheduled network, while Flightglobal is the leading source of aircraft fit, fleet, and values data for the world aviation and aerospace sectors. 

    Paul has consulted for and worked in the manufacturing and service industries for more than 28 years. Prior to co-founding Innovata, he served as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer for Dittler Brothers, Chief Executive Officer of the Mayflower Group, and Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Encode Technology. He has also been employed in other executive positions and as a Manager with Price Waterhouse and served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant. Paul is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was elected to the Wentworth Board of Trustees in May 2024 and serves on the Audit Committee and the Resources Committee of the Board.

  • Yanel de Angel
    Managing Director & Principal, Perkins & Will 

    Yanel de AngelYanel is driven by the belief that we are all meant to do good in this world, so it comes as no surprise that she is a steadfast champion of design that is inclusive, sustainable, resilient, and purposeful. With a reputation for simplifying the complex and building consensus among stakeholder groups, Yanel has been instrumental in the growth of our global residential practice as well as the execution of large mixed-use projects in Boston and internationally. She has leveraged her expertise to spur significant initiatives such as ResilientSEE, a global platform of design professionals, private industry, and academia that offers comprehensive, pro-bono resilient planning and design to communities around the world. 

  • Scott M. Epstein 
    Founder and CEO of Boston Scott Corporation

    Scott M. Epstein is the Founder and CEO of Boston Scott Corporation and has over 35 years of experience in research, product, process, and business development of urology, gastrointestinal, cardiology, radiology, and neurology medical devices. Scott’s company has incubated and spun off Q Urological, and Boston Scott Corporation is now poised to pursue additional FDA approvals leveraging the novel Aguamedicina structural hydrogel platform technology that Scott developed and patented. This technology diminishes the likelihood that biofilms, proteins, and red blood cells will adhere to the surface of an Aguamedicina device, decreasing health care costs and increasing patient quality of life. Scott has received two additional patents using Aguamedicina as a supercapacitor energy storage media and will be developing an environmentally friendly Aguamedicina marine and naval surface coating, which reduces drag, turbulence, and acoustic signatures. 

    Scott received his associate’s degree in mechanical design technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Scott is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys automobile and motorcycle design, racing, and antiques. He was elected to the Wentworth Corporation in 2016 and then served as a University Advisor until 2023. Scott was elected to the Wentworth Board of Trustees in September 2024 and serves on the Audit Committee and the Trusteeship and Governance Committee of the Board.
     

  • Casey Galante, B.S. '12, M.Arch. '13 (WAA President)
    Marketing Manager, Pursuit Management

    Casey Galante Casey Galante graduated from Wentworth with a B.S. in Architecture in 2012 and Master of Architecture in 2013. She was recently elected as the President of the Wentworth Alumni Association (WAA) and has been involved with the WAA Board since 2014, previously holding positions as VP of Governance and VP of Student Engagement. During her time as a student at Wentworth, Casey was an Orientation Coordinator, Orientation Leader, Admissions Ambassador, Resident Assistant, and Senior Resident Assistant. She was the first woman to receive the Senior Resident Assistant of the Year Award. Casey is a Marketing Manager for Pursuit Marketing at Suffolk Construction in their Boston headquarters, and previously worked at Skanska and Shepley Bulfinch. At Suffolk, Casey is involved in various internal groups including Women Who Build and Team Suffolk, and was recently nominated to Suffolk’s Rising Leaders Program. Casey enjoys applying her creative background in her everyday role and hobbies, exploring the best restaurants in Boston, and visiting family in the Hudson Valley.  

  • Cyndee Hoagland 
    SVP, Trimble's Owner and Public Sector

    Cyndee Hoagland is a Senior Vice President for Trimble’s Owner and Public Sector. Cyndee is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of Trimble's leading technology serving federal, state and local government and strategic global owners and major infrastructure projects. Working closely with the leading construction, design and civil engineering companies worldwide, public and private Owners and Public Sector agencies and departments, Trimble’s goal is to support its customers by enabling digital technology to increase productivity and quality, reduce costs and improve worker safety and environmental sustainability. Cyndee is a member of the executive leadership team and a seasoned software and technology executive with over 30 years of experience in delivering growth, profitability and market leadership.

    Cyndee received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. She is a board member of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) where she co-chairs the Innovation Forum. Cyndee was elected to the Wentworth Board of Trustees in September 2024 and serves on the Academic and Student Affairs Committee and the Inclusive Excellence Committee of the Board.

     

  • Anil Jha, ’68, ’15 (Hon.)
    Founder and Past Chief Executive Officer, HydroNovation

    Anil Jha is an innovator and an entrepreneur and serves as an advisor to several technology companies. He is a Board Trustee and advisor for the innovation department at Wentworth Institute of technology. He is also a Board member and business/technology advisor at Aquacycle Inc.

    In 2008 Mr. Jha founded HydroNovation Inc. a venture-backed residential water treatment company. As a CEO he developed the strategic direction of the company and oversaw the research and development. After successfully developing the product he sold the company in 2014.

    The pioneer of electrodeionization, Mr. Jha’s membrane-based technology eliminated the use, disposal, and subsequent leaching of millions of pounds of chemicals into the groundwater for large commercial systems.

    Prior to launching HydroNovation, Mr. Jha was a VP of R&D at Siemens Water Technology Corp. During his career Mr. Jha developed continuous electrodeionization (CEDI) technology, now widely used for ultrapure water and seawater desalination applications. He also managed laboratory systems and business development for U.S. Filter Corp., Millpore Corp., Sterimatics Corp., and Liquipure Corps. At Millipore Corporation Mr. Jha managed and contributed to the development of a $200 million portfolio of purification technologies for pharmaceutical and analytical markets. Mr. Jha has 130 US & international patents and has developed more than 50 distinct water purification products. He is considered a true water technology visionary.

    Mr. Jha earned his bachelor of science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He received his associate’s degree in materials technology from Wentworth in 1968.  He also received an honorary degree from Wentworth in April 2015 for his lifetime achievements in water technology developments.

    Mr. Jha actively mentors up-and-coming entrepreneurs through a non-profit, Imagine H20, and has begun mentoring students in the Accelerate program, Wentworth’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. He was elected to the Corporation in 2015. He is currently serving on the Development Committee of the Board of Trustees.

    Ms. MacNeil is currently a principal at MP Boston, the local office of Millennium Partners Boston, an urban real estate developer. Ms. MacNeil’s work primarily as real estate development manager has included several complex urban projects in Boston, including Winthrop Center (a 1.8 million square foot mixed used tower now under construction in downtown Boston as well as, the recently completed Millennium Tower .

    Ms. MacNeil is a LEED Accredited Professional. She has her Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License. She received a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT Center for Real Estate and holds a bachelor’s degree from Wentworth in Architectural Engineering. She serves as on the advisory board for Historic Boston, Inc. a local preservation organization, as well as the board of directors for Friends of Post Office Square. She is an adjunct professor at Wentworth in the construction management department. She received the Boston Society of Architects Award of Excellence in 2016.

    Michael Santora

    Michael is the Founder and CEO of Logic, a Logistics Software and Automation developer accelerating fully automated warehouses and integrated autonomous transportation. Prior to Logic, Michael co-founded Crown Holdings, a New York City based real estate development company and served as its president. Concurrently he served as principal of the international architecture practice, SB+C where he led the Digital Twin and Advanced Technologies sectors. SB+C was formerly Crown Architecture, co-founded by Michael in 2008. Michael was a Presidential Academic Achievement Award Winner and graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2005 with a degree in architecture. Michael currently serves on Wentworth’s Board of Trustees, was Wentworth’s 2015 Alumni of the Year, and has most recently been named Wentworth’s first Entrepreneur in Residence where he will help create corporate partnerships, drive interdisciplinary engagement and mentor rising entrepreneurs.

    Al Spagnolo (AIA, NCARB) is a founding partner and president of SGA, a Boston and New York City-based national award-winning architecture, interior design, planning, branded environments and virtual design and construction (VDC) firm.

    With more than 45 years of architectural and planning experience, Spagnolo is responsible for leading SGA’s design commissions. The firm’s highly regarded portfolio reflects his ability to balance design excellence with pragmatism. Under his leadership, SGA has won Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Companies” award for architecture in 2018 and 2021.

    Spagnolo supervises SGA’s new business development and serves as the partner in charge for complex commissions in the academic, life science, commercial and urban/mixed use markets.

    He received an Associate Degree in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Ohio State University.

    A registered architect in 18 states, he is an active member of several professional organizations in his field, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), BSA, NCARB, the National Organization of Minority Architects, and the Urban Land Institute.

    He is a lifetime member of the Alpha Rho Chi professional fraternity, and vice-chair of the AIA Project Delivery Knowledge Community.

    A guest lecturer at Wentworth and Boston Architectural College, as well as a regular speaker at national real estate forums, Spagnolo volunteers at Massachusetts General Hospital and supports community organizations such as Building Impact.

    Mark Stoever joined Smartlinx as Chief Executive Officer in January 2024.  Smartlinx is a software company that offers a suite of products for managing workforces within healthcare.

    Prior to joining Smartlinx, Mark served as CEO of 2020 Technologies, a global leader of specialized computer-aided design software dedicated to serving the two-sided marketplace between residential and commercial product manufacturers and design professionals. Before joining 2020 Technologies, Mark served as Chief Executive Officer of Monster Worldwide, a global online employment company where he oversaw the company’s business operations for the industry leading brand for connecting jobs and people. Under Mark’s leadership, Monster has transformed its product platform and portfolio with a focus on innovation and the introduction of several award-winning new products.

    Mark has also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lycos, Inc., the early dot-com search engine, and web portal, which became one of the most visited online destinations in the world. Mark led many of the company’s most recognizable and successful first-generation digital platforms including Search, Social Community, and Electronic Commerce.

    Mark is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has served as a board of director on several private and public boards including the Massachusetts High Technology Council, Junior Achievement, and Panera Bread. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction from Boston’s Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mark was awarded an honorary doctorate from Wentworth in 2016 and was elected to Wentworth's Board of Trustees in May 2024.
