Your username and password - sometimes referred to as your Wentworth Network Account - is your key to virtually all systems and services.

Password Policies and Questions

  • Password minimum requirements

    • At least 8 characters long
    • Does not match any of your previous 6 passwords
    • Does not contain your username, first, or last name
    • Contain a character from 3 of the following 4 groups:
      • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
      • English lowercase characters (a through z)
      • Numerals (0 through 9)
      • Non-alphabetic characters (! # % * + - : ; > ? _ ( ) ~ ^ { } | [ ] \ .)
  • Password recovery questions

    When you log into some services, we'll prompt you to set up the password recovery service by providing a personal cell phone number or email address. Doing so will allow you to recover your password without contacting the Tech Spot, should that become necessary.

  • Password age policy

    For security reasons, users are required to change their Wentworth Network Account password every 180 days. You may choose to change it more often if you like. When passwords are about to expire, you will receive a daily email reminder from the Tech Spot beginning 7 days prior.

  • Two-Factor Authentication

    Two-factor authentication is required for all accounts. Learn more about this service.

Your password is yours and yours alone.

Wentworth will never ask you to email us your password or complete a form to "validate" or "upgrade" your account. Fraudulent messages often pose as legitimate services you are familiar with in an attempt to trick you to act quickly and without thinking.
