Transforming the World and Improving Lives Through Design
Wentworth's School of Architecture and Design is an incubator for ideation, innovation, and creative exploration. Students apply the necessary methodologies and tools to discover who they are as Architects, Interior designers, or Industrial Designers. All of these programs focus on developing and testing creative solutions to real-world problems that excite the imagination.
As a student in the heart of Boston—a spectacular hub of historic and modern architecture—you’ll be surrounded by some of the fastest-growing companies, non-profits, and start-ups looking for fresh architectural and design ideas and experience. From day one, you'll be engaged in hands-on projects and you'll build skills through integrated and applied learning experiences—including international travel studies and a two-semester co-op program. Whether your studio time is full of exploration through sketching and building in the architecture program, learning how to utilize color, materials, logos, and customer experience to present a unified brand in industrial design, or using creativity to learn from the past and reimagine the future in interior design, you’ll be engaged in meaningful work that makes a lasting impact on society.
