New Student Resources
Welcome to Wentworth!
Over the next several years, Wentworth will be your home away from home as you engage in thoughtful classroom discussion, participate in campus activities and traditions, and develop new skills. Between now and the first day of class on September 6, there are number of ways that we will welcome you to the Wentworth family and prepare you for a successful college career. Programs for our new students include both in-person and virtual New Student Orientation (NSO) programs, Pre-WOW early arrival opportunities, Wentworth Opening Week (WOW), and Welcome Socials. Additional transition programs are provided for our transfer and international students. All students are required to attend NSO and WOW.
Please review the list of dates and program overviews below to learn more information about all of our transition programs.
If you have questions at any point during the summer, please reach out to us email@example.com or 617-989-4702.
Dates and Deadlines
Use this list to keep track of all important dates and deadlines throughout the summer. More information will be added to the checklist throughout the summer, and details will be communicated with students via their Wentworth email address.
Wentworth Opening Week (WOW)
Wentworth Opening Week (WOW) is our official welcome program for all first-year and transfer students at Wentworth. Whether you are living on campus or commuting from home, every new student at Wentworth participates in this 3 1/2 day introduction to college life during the last days of August/first days of September.
Wentworth is pleased to offer an opportunity for students to come to campus early to explore their passions and build relationships through one of our Pre-WOW Programs. These programs allow students to meet a small group of peers with a common interest and spend a day learning about a specific topic through hands-on experiences and group activities.
Meet the Orientation Team
Our student orientation staff help to plan our orientation programs and guide incoming students throughout the summer.
New Student Orientation
During New Student Orientation (NSO), students will register for classes, meet faculty and staff, learn about opportunities and resources on campus, and make connections with their fellow incoming students. In-person and virtual options are available.
Family members are encouraged to participate in orientation programs throughout the month of June. We will offer opportunities to connect with various faculty and staff through virtual and in-person programming.
