As artificial intelligence continues to transform the professional landscape and shrink the entry-level job market, universities are racing to adapt. A new report from GBH News explores how colleges are rethinking their courses to "AI-proof" their offerings and ensure students are prepared for a new wave of job expectations.

The Oct. 29 story highlights how schools are launching new programs focused on AI, machine learning, and ethics to stay ahead of the curve. One of the key examples featured is Wentworth Institute of Technology, which launched a new degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence.

Wentworth professor Ella Howard told GBH, “Students really want to go into the workplace equipped. They really want to know the tools and be able to compete for positions in those fields.”
