Under a clear blue sky, the autumn air crackled with excitement during Wentworth Institute of Technology's inaugural Wentworth Weekend.

This fall, Wentworth Institute of Technology continues to excel, earning recognition on numerous "Best Of" lists while also celebrating milestones in student enrollment.  

Wentworth Institute of Technology’s recent Co-ops and Careers Fair saw a record-breaking 1,088 students connect with 148 employers, offering valuable opportunities for Spring and Summer placements.  

This marked the highest student attendance since Fall 2019.

For many students, the path to a fulfilling career isn't always a straight line. It often involves exploration, experimentation, and discovering passions you never knew you had. That was certainly the case for Kelsey Lanoue, a Wentworth Institute of Technology alum who found her calling in the dynamic world of life science construction. 

Wentworth Sweeney Programs of Construction Management students participated in Canstruction Boston 2024 on October 5th, a charitable event where teams of architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and students create intricate sculptures using canned goods and other nonperishable food items, without adhesives.

Allison Connolly is a 2024 graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Industrial Design program who is now working as an exhibit designer for Elevation3D. She recently spoke with us about a product that she developed as a student that proves that with the right classes and catitude, anything is pawsible.

The largest incoming class in the institution’s 120-year history. The largest group of transfer students since the pandemic. More than 100 honors program scholars. Wentworth reached all of these milestones when the class of 2028 arrived on campus this month. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology has again ranked highly on several

Forbes released its Top Colleges 2025 list and has once again included Wentworth Institute of Technology.

The publication also named Wentworth to its top “Private Colleges” list and placed the university within the top 100 “Northeast” colleges.

Matt Gruber has been named Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration for Wentworth Institute of Technology. He will serve on the university’s Executive Council and will oversee the following functions: Business, Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Risk Management, Police, and Technology Services.

Wentworth Institute of Technology has been selected to host a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence from South Africa to teach in the School for Computing and Data Science during the 2024-2025 academic year. 

Since 2005 Wentworth Institute of Technology has been named to the Princeton Review’s “Best Colleges” lists and the streak has continued.
