On Friday, August 1, more than 60 seniors in Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Construction Management program presented their final capstone projects, marking the culmination of their undergraduate studies.

Students presented their work to a panel of 25 professionals from various construction and development companies in the Greater Boston area. The annual event allows students to get direct feedback on their projects from people working in the field.

The capstone project requires students to apply skills learned in the curriculum—including planning, estimating, and scheduling—to a complex, real-world construction scenario.

The presentation day also serves as a key networking event, connecting students with potential employers from the local industry. The capstone experience is designed to ensure graduates are prepared with the practical skills needed for their careers.
