Choosing a major and career path can be overwhelming. If you are interested in getting a degree from Wentworth, but aren't sure which major fits you, we welcome you to enter into a first year exploratory track.
All exploratory tracks are designed to make sure you can explore your interests and still graduate on time within the school that hosts the track.
Exploratory Programs
School of Architecture & Design
Interested in Architecture, Industrial Design or Interior Design? Join the Exploratory First Year Semester and get a leg-up on 3D problem solving and design thinking before choosing your major.
School of Computing & Data Science
Explore different Computing & Data Science majors over the course of a full academic year and choose the option that's right for you.
School of Engineering
Gain a broad introduction to the field of Engineering, analysis, and engineering design before you choose to specialize in one of our six Engineering degrees.
School of Sciences & Humanities
If you are interested in exploring social questions in the Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities, this is the track for you. Take the full academic year to study the role that technology has in the humanities and social sciences, including urban sustainability.
