Explore Renovated Huntington Theatre with Architect Nurit Zuker

The famed Huntington Theatre in Boston has undergone an extensive renovation, and the public will get to hear all about it through an exclusive tour Thursday provided by Wentworth Institute of Technology alumna Nurit Zuker.

Zuker, Architecture ’02, is Senior Associate at Bruner/Cott Architects, the team that transformed the theater to increase its capacity for meaningful public engagement and the vibrant exchange of ideas through the performance arts.

Blueprint for Innovation

How do you teach students to roof without a roof? Or put up drywall without a wall? The answer is surprisingly simple: you bring the building to them.

Such a building, or kit, is being created by students and faculty at Wentworth’s School of Architecture and Design in partnership with YouthBuild Boston. The components—including floors, roofs, and walls—will be digitally fabricated in the Wentworth architecture studios.

Interior Design Students Honored for Workplace Studio Projects

Jessica Cunningham, Interior Design ’22, recently earned second place at the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) New England Design Awards. She submitted her junior summer workplace studio project, led by Associate Professor Lynette Panarelli, which explored how Covid-19 has changed workplace design.

Wentworth Hosts Junior Tech Girls STEM Summit

This past Sunday, Wentworth Institute of Technology's Industrial Design faculty and staff hosted several design sessions for the Junior Tech Girls STEM Summit.
