Seven members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology softball team earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) yearly awards. The team earned the most honorees in program history this season with the seven awards and reached the postseason for the first time since 2005. 

Yanel de Angel has seen the talent of Wentworth Institute of Technology students firsthand. As a principal for architecture and design firm Perkins&Will, she has been working with the university on its master plan and had much to say about the qualities that make a Wentworth student unique. 

Wentworth Institute of Technology has welcomed Deirdre Donovan, Ed.D. as its director of First-Year Math, a new position aimed at supporting student success in foundational mathematics courses.

Wentworth Institute of Technology will soon undergo a spring refresh as roughly 50 new light pole banners will be installed around campus in the coming weeks. 

Featuring updated branding, the banners will showcase students and faculty members from each of the five schools, as well as key rankings, to advertise the university to all who traverse the neighborhood.

As he spoke before a late-afternoon audience in the Center for Engineering, Innovation and Sciences, Michael Santora recounted his journey from Wentworth Architecture graduate in 2005 to founding his own companies and now returning to campus to work with students on the development of a robot. 

Longtime member of the Wentworth Institute of Technology community Annamaria Wenner will be honored at the 2022 Spring Commencement ceremony with an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.

Wentworth faculty often find creative solutions, techniques, and strategies to engage their students, which includes integrating technology into the classroom. Nasser Yari, Ph.D., P.E., Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering, has found that Lightboard technology is one of the most innovative and effective methods of delivering online lectures to students in his Civil Engineering courses.  

Wentworth Institute of Technology is among 38 universities advancing as finalists in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2022 Design Challenge. 

Spring has arrived! With the new season officially here, Wentworth Institute of Technology students (and at least one canine friend) got outside to enjoy the warmer weather in the quad.

Wentworth Institute of Technology will host a special event on the topic of “Climate Change and the Building Sector: The Imperative to Eliminate Carbon Emissions” on Tuesday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.
