Former Governor Dukakis and Others Join Wentworth in Infrastructure Discussion

Leaders of industry and government including former Governor Mike Dukakis, Secretary of Transportation/MassDOT CEO Gina Fiandaca, and Highway Administrator Jonathan Gulliver participated in a robust dialogue at Wentworth Institute of Technology regarding transportation in Massachusetts.
Hosted by Wentworth’s School of Management, the “Future of Transportation” lunch took place Feb. 23 and moderated by Dean Ilyas Bhatti. President Mark A. Thompson offered a welcome message with Dukakis delivering opening remarks, and Finadaca and Gulliver speaking on transportation priorities and fixing our bridges, respectively.
“The luncheon event was a real milestone in moving the discussion forward,” said Bhatti. “Wentworth is poised to play a major role in the reconstruction of our nation’s infrastructure.”
