Wentworth Institute of Technology’s National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) chapter held its annual fashion show on Feb. 18 to “express the beauty, boldness, and elegance of Black culture through fashion.”

Entitled “Matìere Noire,” or black matter, the show was held in honor of Black History Month and featured students from Wentworth and other organizations modeling and performing in Watson Auditorium. The event caught the eye of many in the Boston area, including NBC Boston.
