The Master of Architecture is offered in 3 tracks, corresponding to your undergraduate preparation:
- The 1-year track is for graduates of Wentworth’s BS in Architecture program or candidates who hold a Bachelor of Architecture from another institution.

IPAL-Approved STEM Program
Wentworth offers the Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure (IPAL), an optional path launched by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), which allows architecture students the ability to earn their license in less time by incorporating experience and examination into their education. Bachelor of Science in Architecture IPAL students who are accepted into Wentworth’s one-year Master of Architecture program have the option to complete the Master of Architecture as a one-year, full-time program, or as a two-year part-time program while working part-time in the profession.
Wentworth’s Master of Architecture program has a federal STEM designation, which provides a potential 24-month Operational Practice Training (OPT) extension for international students studying on an F-1 visa.

The Department currently holds a full 8-year term of accreditation (the maximum possible under the 2009 NAAB Conditions for Accreditation) for its Master of Architecture degree program from the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).
