In addition to gaining a foundational background in all areas of management, students also acquire the analytic and managerial skills necessary to administer organizational resources.
As the only undergraduate program of its kind in Massachusetts, and one of only a few in the nation, this program offers an innovative curriculum that prepares students to manage technology development and implementation.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Management program is a four-year program, which starts in the fall semester of the student’s first year and is planned to end in the summer semester of the student’s fourth year. A study of financial analysis, marketing principles, operations management, manufacturing, strategic management, economics, organizational behavior, information systems, and the legal aspects of business are introduced in this program. In addition, Business Management students have the opportunity to select a four-course concentration in either Project Management, Entrepreneurship, or Cybersecurity Management.

Year 1
You’ll establish a foundation for your Business Management program by taking introductory courses in management, applied mathematics, decision analysis for business, and financial accounting, which will instill core management concepts that you’ll use throughout the program.

Year 2
Second-year business management students expand their knowledge with courses like Management Communications, where you'll learn how to conduct a meeting, do an effective oral presentation, write technical descriptions, instructions, and reports, and effectively present information to their clients. Students will also begin electives in their Project Management, Entrepreneurship, or Cybersecurity Management concentration.
An optional pre co-op work term is available to students during the summer semester.

Year 3
In the fall and summer semesters of your third year, you’ll take courses like Managing & Leading Organizations, which examines the human aspects of management, and is concerned with the ways in which the interactions of members of the management hierarchy contribute to the achievement of organizational goals. In Operations Management, you’ll learn about planning and control methods for industrial and production processes.
In the spring, you’ll begin the first of two required co-ops.

Year 4
In the fall, you’ll go on your second required co-op to gain more hands-on industry experience.
The remainder of your program includes Strategic Management and Business Negotiation Principles, which will help bolster your business acumen. You’ll also finish your program with your senior capstone project.
