How much do tutoring services cost?

All tutoring services are FREE for Wentworth students.

What do I do if I don’t see the class I’m looking for listed under tutoring services? Email Tom or JoJo and let them know what class you need help in. We can frequently find solutions to gaps in tutor coverage for classes if students ask.

How do I become a tutor?

If you have a Wentworth GPA of 3.0 or higher, you have a Wentworth instructor who will recommend you, and you are able to tutor courses in high demand, please reach out to JoJo and Tom to see if we are hiring. Students have the best chance of being hired if they reach out before the semester begins.

When are you open?

Tutoring is available Monday through Friday during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Times for each subject may vary according to tutor availability, but during times when students are on campus, we are open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 8pm and Friday from 9am to 5pm. During online only times, tutors are available from 11am to 8pm Monday through Thursday, and 11am to 5pm on Friday.

Do I have to schedule an appointment in advance?

We recommend scheduling appointments in advance whenever possible, especially during peak times in the semester (eg midterms, finals) to ensure a tutor is available for the subject you need at the day and time you prefer. However, it is sometimes possible to book a same day appointment if a tutor happens to be available
