Wentworth Institute of Technology's Workforce Development team had a full-circle day of celebration on April 11th, recognizing the achievements of students in partnership with both Wayne J. Griffin Electric and YouthBuild Boston.
The morning commenced in Holliston, Mass., at Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc., where 14 exceptional team members were honored for earning their Associate of Applied Science in Engineering Technology through Wentworth's Apprenticeship to Degree Pathways program. This graduation ceremony marked the culmination of a dedicated partnership showcasing Wentworth's commitment to meeting industry training needs. Notably, six of these graduates are continuing their educational journey at Wentworth, pursuing Online Bachelor of Project Management degrees.

The celebrations continued with an afternoon luncheon recognizing the accomplishments of 18 YouthBuild Boston participants. These individuals successfully completed the YouthBuild Pre-Apprenticeship Program, earning their Wentworth Career Essentials for the Skilled Trades Certificate.
Key to the success of both programs were the efforts of Executive Director of Workforce Development and Professional Education Valerie Paquette, Director of Workforce Development and Professional Education Lorraine López Rivera, and Academic Advisor Susan Curley Clancy, who were instrumental in their roles as liaisons and advisors.
