Strong Showing for Construction Management at Collegiate Ethics Competition

Construction Management student Zachary Smith ’24 won Best Presenter while the Wentworth Institute of Technology team of students Smith, Neal Balotskiy, and Ethan Kopraski, and faculty advisors Afshin Pourmokhtarian and Payam Bakhshi captured second place in the Oral Response category at the 2024 Collegiate Ethics Competition. 

The team was the first from Wentworth to ever compete in the event. They also took third place in the written portion. 

Presented by the American Institute of Constructors (AIC), the Collegiate Ethics Competition is a virtual event designed to engage and support future construction management professionals at colleges and universities across the United States.  

The competition invites students, construction professionals, university leaders, business affiliates, and AIC members to participate. Participants adhere to ethical guidelines, enhance their video conferencing skills, and gain experience using virtual technology for professional presentations and meetings, preparing them for their future careers in construction management.
