Robotics Scholarships Announced

Wentworth Institute of Technology has introduced scholarships for robotics enthusiasts in the upcoming Fall 2023 admission cycle. These scholarships reflect Wentworth's commitment to fostering and supporting students with a passion for robotics and technology. 

The VEX Robotics Scholarship is open to students who have consistently participated in VEX Robotics throughout their high school years. To be eligible, students must have applied and been accepted to Wentworth by the Early Action Round 2 application deadline of January 1. Up to five scholarships will be awarded annually, with each recipient receiving $10,000 per year.  

Additionally, Wentworth offers the FIRST Robotics Scholarship. Students who have demonstrated consistent involvement in FIRST Robotics during their high school journey can be considered for this scholarship. Similar to the VEX Robotics Scholarship, eligible students must have applied and been accepted to Wentworth by the Early Action Round 2 application deadline. Each year, up to five scholarships will be granted, providing recipients with $10,000 per year.  

Both scholarships are renewable for four years, subject to satisfactory academic progress as outlined in Wentworth's academic catalog.
