Work on the new Sweeney Field is progressing. To the right of the photo, you will see the final 60-ft. long precast panel going up over the stairwell, which also means the crane will soon demobilize and Halleck Lot will return for parking.

Other recent investments include:

  • 610 Huntington Lobby—A new carpet has been installed with fresh paint on the walls and an upgraded HVAC system. Furniture for the space has been selected (rendering above), and Industrial Design students are working with the Facilities team to finalize the finishes, fabrics, and colors.

  • Williston Hall: A door was relocated within the Institutional Advancement and External relations suite for better traffic flow.

  • Admissions Suite: The walls have been given a fresh look with a new coat of paint.

  • DTS and Student Affairs installed the RecRe self-service lockers on the ground floor of Beatty Hall. Through this platform, students have access to free items including board games, outdoor equipment, and more.

  • New printers were added to the first and second floors of Annex Central to help accommodate printing needs for the School of Architecture and Design.
