Jad Hanna ’18 Launches ‘Opus Cafe’ to Power Personal Growth

Jad Hanna, a 2018 Electromechanical Engineering graduate, is bridging the gap between ambition and achievement with his new platform, Opus Cafe. 

Currently a software developer for the autonomous vehicle company Cruise, Hanna developed Opus Cafe as a passion project born during the pandemic. While teaching himself Chinese and guitar, he realized the need for a centralized space where users could not only set goals but track their incremental progress and receive community support. The result is an intuitive app that combines the social connectivity of a community forum with the utility of a progress journal.
