Future Engineers Shine at Wentworth Bridge Competition
Wentworth Institute of Technology's School of Engineering proudly hosted the 34th Annual Model Bridge Competition on February 2, in partnership with the Boston Society of Civil Engineers.
The event invited 50 high school and middle school teams to engage in the hands-on experience of designing a bridge while adhering to a set of specific engineering constraints.
Participants from Swampscott Public Library, Catholic Memorial, and Epstein Hillel achieved the highest scores in this competition.
Special thanks to Professor and Associate Dean Anuja Kamat and Professor Gautham Das and several Wentworth co-op employees, including Reed Brockman, who serves on the School of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council.
