Edit-a-thon Focusing on Women in STEM

graphic advertising event

Calling all changemakers! Wentworth Institute of Technology’s School of Sciences & Humanities is presenting the SSH Women in STEM Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Wednesday, March 20.

Do you want to:

  • Make a difference by amplifying the voices of undercelebrated women in STEM?
  • Learn a new skill and become a Wikipedia editing pro?
  • Enjoy free coffee, lunch, and snacks while collaborating with other passionate individuals?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then feel free to pop in anytime to the Edit-a-thon, taking place between 10am and 5pm in the CEIS Commons (first floor).

No prior editing experience is necessary. Together with other participants, you'll create and improve articles on remarkable women who have made significant contributions to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Participation in this event also counts toward the W@W UG Leadership badge.

Supported by the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and in partnership with the Teaching and Learning Collaborative, Success Studio, and the Douglas D. Schumann Library & Learning Commons.
