CM Professor Payam Named Educator of the Year

Wentworth Institute of Technology Professor Payam Bakhshi of the School of Management has been given the 2024 Mark Hasso Educator of the Year Award by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) organization.  

The recognition highlights contributions and efforts that align with CMAA values and a consistent engagement with the construction management industry, as well as an “ongoing commitment to promoting and upholding the profession’s highest standards.” Payam will officially be honored during the CMAA2024 Annual Conference event, which will be held in San Francisco, CA, from October 27-29, 2024. 

The award’s namesake, Mark Hasso, was a professor of Construction Management at Wentworth for more than 30 years and is a member of the National Academy of Construction. 

The CMAA looks nationally to select its winners and other educators from this year’s award recipients hail from locations including San Francisco, New York City, and Auburn, Ala.
