Class of 2021 Spotlight: Brooke Ensby—Interior Design

portrait of a woman

We’re chatting with Wentworth Institute of Technology seniors who are set to graduate on Aug. 22. They’re sharing, in their words, some of their fondest memories from the university and reflecting on what they’ve learned during their time here.

Follow along with our different student spotlights at wit.edu/news.

Here’s Brooke Ensby, Interior Design major:

“From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew Wentworth was the right school for me. One of the biggest impacts choosing Wentworth has made on me is how well known the school is in this area, which helped to find internships and jobs.

I am involved with the Wentworth Women's Council and currently serve as the chair. Through this position the council was able to provide a mentorship program to incoming first-year female students, create a recognition ceremony for both leadership and graduating seniors, and provide a leadership workshop for current students. We have also worked with the Institute and other clubs to help improve the overall support of Wentworth women.

After graduation I plan on returning to Wentworth to get my Master of Architecture degree. One piece of advice I wish I had prior to beginning is to not be afraid to get involved and to put myself outside my comfort zone.”
