“We have to be visible. We should not be ashamed of who we are.” -- Sylvia Rivera

With these words in mind, Wentworth Institute of Technology and the Colleges of the Fenway played host to their first ever LGBTQ+ Pride Block Party on June 29.

Stretching across Wentworth’s campus, the event was open to the community and featured live performances, food trucks, games, an obstacle course, a mechanical unicorn, and resource tables.

Partners and sponsors included Greater Boston PFLAG, Nicole Mazzeo, The Network/LaRed, The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Fenway Health, Triangle Program, Bagly inc., Wentworth Center for Wellness, and Wentworth Library.
