Wentworth Institute of Technology and alum Joe Fallon are teaming up to provide a group of underrepresented students the chance to break into the real estate business.

Fallon, AET ’73, CE ’77, Hon. ’17, and his Fallon Company are teaming with property management company Street2Ivy to offer free summer classes to 18 teens between the ages of 16 and 19. The program will take place on Wentworth’s campus and offer entry-level real estate training to young people from communities that traditionally lack the connections and resources to break into the industry.

“The intent is to let them see a college campus, understand that it’s not that intimidating,” Fallon told The Boston Globe. “It’s something that they can get used to and be familiar with so that they do go on to college.”
