For eligible Servicemembers, Veterans, Or Dependents (transferred benefit)

- The Post-9/11 GI Bill® can pay some or all your tuition & fees (Paid to Wentworth)
- provide a monthly housing allowance while you are enrolled in classes (Paid to you)
- up to $1,000 a year to use for books and supplies. (Paid to you)
Does not pay Wentworth for:
- On-campus Housing
- Meal plans
- Parking Pass
- Other fees that are considered optional
Requires Monthly Verification with the VA:
Full-Time Vs. Part-Time status (“Rate of Pursuit”):
- Undergraduate rate of pursuit is 12 Credits for traditional length semesters
- Graduate rate of pursuit 9 Credits for traditional length semesters
- Rate of pursuit calculator (VA makes the final determination): To help you determine if you are a full- or part-time student
Other important notes:
- Must be enrolled more than 50% / Half-time time to receive any portion of the housing allowance
- Must take at least one campus or hybrid course to receive the residential housing allowance rate
- Full-time on-campus housing rate (2022-23): $ 3081.00
- Full-time online housing rate (2022-23): $950.75
Veteran Readiness And Employment (Chapter 31) | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)
For veterans with a service-connected disability that limits their ability to work or prevents them from working.

- once enrolled, ensure your VR&E counselor sends to Wentworth your Purchase Order paperwork to ensure billing and your school supplies are covered.

Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR Ch. 1606) | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)
For qualifying members of the Reserves or National Guard

- May receive additional funds if eligible for a “kicker” in your enlistment contract
