Post-9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)

For eligible Servicemembers, Veterans, Or Dependents (transferred benefit)

Does not pay Wentworth for:

  • On-campus Housing
  • Meal plans
  • Parking Pass
  • Other fees that are considered optional

Requires Monthly Verification with the VA:

Full-Time Vs. Part-Time status (“Rate of Pursuit”):

Other important notes:

  • Must be enrolled more than 50% / Half-time time to receive any portion of the housing allowance
  • Must take at least one campus or hybrid course to receive the residential housing allowance rate
  • Current VA payment and rate coverage

Veteran Readiness And Employment (Chapter 31) | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)

For veterans with a service-connected disability that limits their ability to work or prevents them from working.

Montgomery GI Bill® Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR Ch. 1606) | Veterans Affairs (va.gov)

For qualifying members of the Reserves or National Guard

VA Education Benefits For Survivors And Dependents (Ch. 35) | Veterans Affairs

For eligible dependents spouses or children of qualifying deceased or 100% disabled veterans
