I chose Wentworth because of its strong focus on experiential learning and the opportunity to apply knowledge in real-world settings from the very beginning. The co-op program and project-based classes stood out to me as a way to gain valuable industry experience while still in school, which I knew would prepare me to hit the ground running in my career. A standout project I have worked on was the MathWorks AI Studio Challenge, where my team and I built models to predict household energy consumption. The challenge centered on using a large time-series dataset with over 2 million measurements of power, voltage, current, and sub-metered energy use to forecast short-term consumption patterns.
