The Applied Sciences degree allows students interdisciplinary collaboration that is not possible in most other programs. Lots of schools offer biochem, biophysics, or physical chemistry degrees, but few give students the chance to delve into all three sciences the way ours does. This broad focus keeps our students adaptable in the current job market and increases the odds of them someday being the one in the room with the outside perspective that generates meaningful change.
