Jody Gordon in Cypress on an archeological dig
"I teach in the Computer Science and Society program. Our goal is to give students technical computer science skills along with a knowledge of humanities disciplines (e.g., archaeology, history, climate change, art) and show them how the sum of these two elements can lead to socially beneficial, personally fulfilling, and well paying employment. Students take a mixture of humanities classes, computer science rudiments, and courses that fuse the two tracks together and help students apply what they've learned in the real world." Professor Gordon has led archeological study abroad trips to Cypress with Wentworth students.
