Eva Cloostermans was a serious vocalist. She even sang for the Grand Duke and Duchess of her native Luxembourg. But when she had to choose a career, she opted for another interest—industrial design. “I realized I could still sing as an industrial designer, but I couldn’t do industrial design as a singer.” Eva was drawn to Boston because it’s similar in size and international feel to her home country. She was drawn to Wentworth because of the facilities—and the sense of community. “I plunged right in,” she says, “helping to start a club for women in industrial design called Frauhaus.” The club provides networking opportunities and support systems for women in ID.
