Wentworth Institute of Technology provides middle and high school students with hands-on learning opportunities in science, engineering, and design. Our interactive programs offer an immersive, experiential way to explore STEM and design concepts, helping spark curiosity, build skills, and ignite future passions.
Summer Programs
Momentum
Momentum is a one-week STEM summer program for students entering grades 9 and 10, with commuter and residential options.
- Non-credit commuter/residential program

ImpactLab
ImpactLab is a two-week residential pre-college summer program in Boston for students entering grades 11 and 12.

SummerFAB is a four-week architecture and design summer program for Boston high school students.

- Dive deeper into architecture, interior and industrial design principles

STEM Challenge: MATHQuest
Wentworth STEM Challenge: MATHQuest invites high-school sophomores and juniors to put their math skills to the test in a fun and hands-on competition. Participants will tackle real-world math problems, connect with faculty, and explore STEM pathways at Wentworth.

STEM Challenge: CODEClash
Wentworth STEM Challenge: CODEClash invites high-school sophomores and juniors to put their coding skills to the test in a fun and hands-on competition. Participants will spend the day exploring coding challenges, working through creative problem-solving activities, and connecting with Wentworth faculty and peers who share an interest in computing and technology. Engineers Make a World of Difference
The Engineers Make a World of Difference event invites middle school students to explore the exciting world of engineering through hands-on activities, creative problem-solving challenges, and opportunities to connect with Wentworth faculty and peers. Taking place during Massachusetts February Vacation Week, this experience is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and introduce students to the many ways engineers help shape the world around us.
