Michael D'Agostino

Michael J. D'Agostino serves as the Construction Management Program Administrator for the Sweeney Programs of Construction Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. A construction educator with more than two decades in higher education and over 35 years of industry experience, he is dedicated to preparing the next generation of construction professionals through experiential learning, industry engagement, and applied education.

Prior to joining academia, D'Agostino owned and operated a successful family construction and energy business, providing him with extensive experience in project management, estimating, operations, business leadership, and client relations. He brings this practical perspective into the classroom while fostering strong partnerships between academia and the construction industry.

Under his leadership, the Sweeney Programs have expanded industry engagement, strengthened student organizations, enhanced laboratory-based learning, increased experiential opportunities, and further developed relationships with leading construction firms and professional organizations. He also serves as advisor to several student organizations and is actively involved with numerous industry associations throughout New England.
