The Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Planning performs research and evaluation activities in support of Wentworth’s academic and administrative programs and activities. The office communicates accurate and consistent information to the college community, the government, various educational agencies, and the public. We periodically update our methods of data collection and reporting. Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) is a data set that has been created by the higher education community to improve the quality of information that is circulated to those involved in a student’s transition into higher education. Contained in the report is an agreed upon and widely used set of questions about enrollment, admissions, academic programs, student life, annual expenses, and graduation. Each fall the Common Data Set is created and is widely reported to organization such as U.S. News & World Report, the College Board, and Peterson’s.

Wentworth's Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Planning tracks data and information about the success of university's students, graduates, and programs. Several resources utilize this information to detail Wentworth's excellence as an institution of higher learning and, in some cases, demonstrate how Wentworth compares to similar schools in the region and across the country.
