Institutional Master Plan

On February 21, 2024, Wentworth Institute of Technology announced a bold 10-year plan that will dramatically transform its physical campus, creating technologically advanced spaces for hands-on learning in preparation for STEAM careers while providing a modern, sustainable residential experience for students. The Institutional Master Plan will also serve Wentworth’s community and its neighbors in Boston by bringing more students back onto campus in comfortable inclusive housing communities.

The plan was informed by years of conversations with students, faculty and staff as part of broader strategic planning process.  It features the creation of three new academic buildings, three residential communities, and two new outdoor green public spaces that more than double the amount of public green space on campus.

In these renderings, proposed new buildings appear in beige.
