Wentworth Institute of Technology is proud to lead the way in making higher education more accessible, practical, and affordable. Through a series of innovative partnerships, Wentworth has created next-gen apprenticeship pathways, designed to bridge the gap between skilled trades and college degrees.
These partnerships enable students to earn up to 24–27 transfer credits toward two new fully online degree programs, by completing an approved apprenticeship in the electrical, telecommunications, construction or mechanical fields:
High-Value Learning + Transformative Student Experience
We value the rigor and real-world learning apprenticeships offer. Our model recognizes that hands-on work is not just preparation - it is education. These pathways allow students to:
- Earn college credit for on-the-job training
- Reduce time and cost toward a degree
- Begin coursework while completing their apprenticeship
- Gain a competitive edge in their field
