Under a clear blue sky, the autumn air crackled with excitement during Wentworth Institute of Technology's inaugural Wentworth Weekend. From campus tours and coffee with the President to laughter at a headlining comedy show, the weekend brimmed with activities that reconnected alumni, showcased student talent, and offered a glimpse into the vibrant heart of the Wentworth community.

Class of 1974 50th Reunion and Legacy Family Recognition
Class of 1974 graduates and Legacy Families (alumni with current students/graduates and families with two or more Wentworth students) were invited to a special morning reception with President Thompson, senior leadership and the Lifetime Engagement team. 1974 graduates will be inducted into the Black & Gold Society, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation from Wentworth.

Wentworth Weekend kicked off with coffee with President Mark Thompson and Karyn Thompson. Alumni, current students, and other guests mingled with staff in CEIS.
Student Pitch Competition and Marketplace
The second annual Leopard Launch Pitch Competition, brought to you by Accelerate, Wentworth’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center found student entrepreneurs pitching their innovative startups to a panel of alumni in just five minutes, competing for three different cash prizes.
Right after, the audience dove into the Leopard Launch marketplace, where even more student founders showcased and sold their products and services.
