Get ready for a weekend of connection, celebration, and discovery!
Wentworth Institute of Technology is hosting a jam-packed weekend Oct. 18-20 filled with exciting events, from campus tours and athletic competitions to alumni panels and off-campus excursions.
Alumni, families, and friends are invited to the inaugural Wentworth Weekend. Events will include an alumni-based “Where are They Now” panel, Accelerate Pitch Round, crafts and family activities, a barbecue, a Class of 1974 50th Reunion, and much more.
“We wanted to create something special for everyone and go big,” said President Mark A. Thompson. “If you’re an alum, it’s a great chance to reconnect with classmates and, if you haven’t been to Wentworth in a while, it’s a way to see the new things our campus and Boston have to offer.”
Big-Fun Friday
Over three days, guests will have the chance to participate in a variety of activities, starting with campus tours on the morning of Friday, Oct. 18, featuring Wentworth's state-of-the-art Center for Engineering, Innovation, and Sciences (CEIS).

Location, Location, Location (Sunday, Sunday, Sunday)
If you graduated some time ago or simply haven't been back to campus in a while, you might be pleasantly surprised with how much the Wentworth campus and the surrounding area have changed in just a few short years. Or perhaps you’re new to Wentworth and still figuring out where all of the cool locations are. Whatever the case, Sunday’s Wentworth Weekend schedule has you covered!
Start the day with a continental breakfast in the bright and airy Beatty Pavilion. If you choose to stay on campus for a while, there will be an alumni softball game taking place.
Those who want to explore the city afterwards will have the chance through two different group outings. You may opt for traveling by land and sea through some of Boston’s historic sections with a Duck Boat Tour or gain a different type of bird’s eye view by traveling to the top of the Prudential Center through the View Boston 360 Experience.
“The planning team has put a lot of thought into making this an unforgettable weekend,” said Thompson. “We’re excited to welcome everyone back to campus, and we hope our alumni and their families leave with wonderful memories.”
