Non-Matriculated Students
Students outside of Wentworth Institute of Technology and Wentworth employees may take one or more undergraduate or graduate courses as a non-matriculated student, without applying to a degree program.
-
Prerequisites
Non-matriculated students are also subject to the same course prerequisites and School permissions as Wentworth's degree-seeking students, so it is important to understand the requirements for any course you are interested in taking. Course prerequisites can be found in the Academic Catalog. The non-matriculated applicant must submit to Wentworth official transcript(s) from the colleges/universities they have attended to prove that they have met the prerequisite for the requested course.
-
Credits
Non-Matriculated students may enroll in up to 8 credits per semester and are permitted to earn a maximum of 12 credits in a non-matriculated status. If you are interested in applying for a degree program after taking courses at Wentworth, you should complete an Undergraduate Admission Application or a Graduate Admissions Application.
-
