Behavior Intervention Team (BIT)

Wentworth Institute of Technology prioritizes the safety and security of our campus community. As members of that community, we each hold a responsibility to share information about our students and colleagues when we become concerned for their safety or wellbeing or the safety of others. The Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) responds to each of these concerns. Through a collaborative process, the purpose of BIT is to mitigate targeted acts of violence and intervene in situations that may impact the well-being of our campus community.

BIT is comprised of individuals who are specifically trained in threat assessment and have expertise in student affairs, human resources, law enforcement, Title IX, and mental health services.
