Providing Early Success in College for Local Youth

Dual Credit allows juniors and seniors from partner Boston Public High Schools to earn college credit while simultaneously receiving credit toward a high school diploma. This program is aimed at students who have an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields and Wentworth. The primary focus of the program is to develop students to be academically ready and prepare them for college by giving them the opportunity to experience college level coursework before they graduate from high school.

Benefits for participating students in Dual Credit:

  • Authentic College Experience: College coursework on Wentworth's Boston campus
  • Prepared for College: Students who participate in Dual Credit are more prepared for college than those who do not
  • Transferable College Credit: Earn up to 12 college credits in Construction, Design, Engineering, Management, and Technology
  • Access to Campus Resources: All Dual Credit students have access to all Wentworth resources including tutoring, student clubs, organizations and activities, counseling services, and access to our state-of-the-art library, to name a few.
