ASEE 2022: Conference Tracks
Professional Papers
Authors are invited to submit full-length papers in this track. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the proceedings. Typically faculty and industry professionals submit papers in this category, though students are welcome to submit here as well. Papers from this track will be considered for the Best paper award (professional papers) category. There will be three awards. The first place will advance to ASEE National Conference. Extended Abstract (Presentation Only)
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts to this track. These might be work in progress papers which authors would like to present to get some feedback or completed ideas which authors want to share, but do not want to submit/publish a full paper. Typically faculty and industry professionals submit papers in this category, though students are welcome to submit here as well. Please contact the Program Chairs (extended abstracts) for any questions about this track.

Student Paper
Authors are invited to submit full-length papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the proceedings. The first author and presenter for papers in this category must be a student and the majority of the work should be done by the student. Papers from this track will be considered for the Best paper awards (student) category. There will be three financial awards for the student authors. Student Poster
Authors are invited to submit research, design or capstone project posters. The first author for poster in this category must be a student and the majority of the award should done by the students. Posters from this track will be considered for the Best poster awards according to grad/undergrad category. There will be three financial awards for the student authors.
