Wentworth Alum Named ‘Rising Star’ by New England Real Estate Journal
Jovanny Lamisere, a 2018 graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, has been named a "Rising Star" by the New England Real Estate Journal (NEREJ). Lamisere is currently a senior assistant project manager at Lee Kennedy Company, where he has worked for five years. He is also a local Boston resident.
Lamisere graduated from Wentworth with a degree in Construction Management and played on the university’s basketball team for four years. Lamisere completed two co-ops with Lee Kennedy Company before being named full-time assistant project manager after graduation.
"[Jovanny] carries himself with confidence and has the drive to advance far in his career,” said Brian Kelley, project manager at Lee Kennedy Company. “Everyone at the jobsite can count on him.”
In his role as project manager, Lamisere has overseen the construction of a number of high-profile projects, including a new music building in Cambridge, Mass. He is known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well with others.
"I've learned there will always be a carousel of projects that come your way and I'm excited to take advantage of the different opportunities,” Lamisere told NEREJ.
