Professor Discusses City Light Pole Danger with CBS Boston

In the wake of tragedy in Boston’s Seaport District, Wentworth Institute of Technology Professor James Lambrechts spoke with CBS Boston about the inherent dangers in city light poles. 

"It is steel, it rusts, and it rusts quicker when exposed to salt – and road salt is the culprit I'm seeing in this one. It should be galvanized and properly coated,” Lambrechts told the television station after officials learned of rust at the bottom of the light poles.
