Assistant Provost Offers Advice for Entry-Level Job Seekers

Robbin Beauchamp, assistant provost of Cooperative Education and Career Development at Wentworth Institute of Technology, recently spoke with WalletHub about best practices related to entry-level jobs. 

“Technology-related jobs have longevity,” said Beauchamp when asked about best entry-level positions for job security. “Technology changes so quickly, anyone working in the field must continually educate themselves using online or in-person classes or workshops.” 

Beauchamp also answers questions about so-called “dead-end” jobs, how long a new graduate should stay at an entry-level job, and about working in a preferred industry for less pay.
