On Thursday, November 9, Wentworth Institute of Technology will host its 16th Annual Veterans Day Luncheon, an event to honor and celebrate the veterans and active-duty military members of the Colleges of the Fenway communities.

“Veterans Day reminds our Wentworth community of the service and sacrifices made by our military for our freedoms,” said Director of Military-Connected Services Michael Siegel. “Attending the Annual Veterans Luncheon is more than a meal. It's an opportunity to bridge understanding, appreciate our shared history, and fortify the bonds that tie us together."

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in Watson Auditorium.

U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and Professor of Military Science Brian Slotnick will be the event’s keynote speaker. Wentworth Constriction Management major Adam Bodien, who is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a corporal, will be the student speaker.

Attendees will also hear from Siegel and Wentworth President Mark A. Thompson about the university’s commitment to its military-connected students and alumni.

Wentworth has a long history of supporting veterans and active-duty military members, offering a variety of resources and services to help these students succeed, including scholarships, tutoring, and career counseling. Wentworth is also a member of the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides financial assistance to veterans and their families.
