Began professional life in Hollywood working on television shows. Returned to Boston to work in local television and radio. Took some great advice via career counseling and was redirected into Human Resources. Spent a wonderful decade in three distinct industries performing a wide range of HR functions. Moved into the college career side to share HR knowledge with students. Quickly and repeatedly promoted. Thoroughly enjoy working with students, alumni and all constituents of a college career center.

Lead a team of 11 professionals to support students in the STEM fields to obtain two full-time Cooperative Educational experiences prior to their graduation and to guide them to obtain post-graduation employment in their field and/or admission to graduate school. Develop and maintain budgets, create and implement strategic plans and policies and procedures. Develop recruiting plans to increase opportunities for co-ops and post-graduate employment. Work with senior management to align departmental goals and objectives with Institute's. Add significant value to academics by aligning co-op assessments to meet a variety of accrediting bodies.

Oversee 4 professional staff and one administrative staff member for a centralized career center supporting approximately 4,700 undergraduate and graduate students in the liberal arts and professional schools. Maximized services of office by increasing staff size, initiating and utilizing web-based career-related services and increasing opportunities of on-and off-campus interviews, cooperative education, programming and counseling. Recognized as important part of successful accreditation processes for AACSB, ABET, ABA, NEASC, ACCE. Assumed management of the Cooperative Education Program, increasing student participation by 32% in four year period. Increased student appointments by 23% by marketing directly to students via classroom commercials. Strategically built multiple recruiting and networking programs while developing employer relationships resulting in an increase of 90% of employer participation for Career Fair.
