Our Residential Experience

Wentworth strives to create a community that empowers students to pursue their passions while having fun. From living on campus to eating with friends and everything in between at ImpactLab students will get a glimpse of the college experience over the summer.

Our residence halls are staffed by Pre-college staff who work proactively to create a fun, engaging, and safe living and learning environment for our participants. 

610 Huntington Ave

Participants will get the opportunity to live on campus at 610 Huntington Ave. This suite-style residence hall will be home to all participants during the two-week program. From game rooms to air-conditioned rooms, 610 will provide participants with a comfortable and fun living environment over the summer.

What’s in your residence hall room?

  • Each resident is supplied with a fully furnished room including: a Twin XL bed, desk, desk chair, and a large wardrobe with shelving and hanging space.
  • Wentworth Wi-Fi is available from all residence hall rooms.
  • Residence hall rooms are air-conditioned and linens are provided. Students may bring additional bedding or a fan if desired. 
  • All students will be provided meals during the program however, each room comes equipped with a kitchen including a full-size refrigerator/freezer and microwave. 
  • Building amenities include game rooms, laundry, vending machines, social and study lounge spaces.

  1. Jul 10

    Orientation & Move-In for Session I

    Our Orientation & Move-In for Session I will kick off your summer of fun! The day will include residential move-in, a welcome, and orientation to our program for students and families. You can find the full schedule here. 

    Please note students attending both sessions will only have to go through the move-in and orientation process once, on July 10, 2022.

  2. Jul 22

    Closing Ceremonies & Move-Out for Session I

    Join us as we wrap and celebrate the learning of our participants in Session I. Closing ceremonies will take place from 11:00-12:00 PM on campus and parents and families are welcome to attend. After that, we will provide lunch and then students can begin the residential move-out process. You can see a full schedule here.

    Move-In & Orientation for Session II

    Our Move-In and Orientation will kick off your summer of fun! The day will include residential move-in, a welcome, and orientation to our program for students and families. You can find the full schedule here.

  • Can you provide a recommended packing list?

    Our staff has come up with a list of recommendations with respect to a packing list below. Please note that this is not comprehensive and these are just recommendations, not requirements. 

    • Recommended Daily Clothing for the two weeks. Make sure to include 1-2 pairs of athletic wear and 1-2 nicer outfits. 
    • Windbreaker/waterproof jacket 
    • Umbrella 
    • Toiletries 
    • Backpack 
    • Laundry bag 
    • Phone + charger 
    • Laptop/tablet + charger. 
    • Notebooks and pens 
    • Books, magazines, playing cards, etc. 
    • Spending money for incidentals or optional, non-program activities 
    • Any medications you need for the duration of the program
  • When will Move-In take place for the summer? 

    Our Move-In and Orientation will take place on July 10, 2022, for students in Session I, and July 24, 2022, for students in Session II. Move-in will take place from 8:00 - 10:00 AM on both Sundays with a formal Orientation program to follow.

  • Who will be living in the residence hall during the programs?

    All of our ImpactLab participants will be housed in 610, along with our Pre-college Programs staff and Residential Program Assistants, who will be serving as live-in staff during the program. 

  • What can I expect for meals? 

    Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided during the program dates and the cost is included in the program fee. Meals will vary and may include dining hall options, grab-and-go totes, and catered events, and allergies and dietary restrictions will be accommodated. We recommend students have personal funds available for additional snacks or meals in the event they require additional meals outside the scope of what is provided.
