Celebrating Student Success: School of Management Honor Society Inductees and Competition Winners
Wentworth Institute of Technology’s School of Management held an induction ceremony and celebration for top performing students involved with the Business Management and Computer Information Systems Programs. The event brought together faculty members, students, and program leaders for an afternoon of recognition on July 17, in honor of student success.
As a member chapter of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society, Wentworth’s Business Management and Computer Information Systems Programs welcomed five students, as new inductees, into the society. Sigma Beta Delta is dedicated to:
“…encourage and recognize scholarship among students of business, management, and administration; and to encourage and promote aspirations towards personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind”
The following students were inducted into the honor society by Chapter Officers, Professor Hossein Noorian (President) and Professor Rick Trilling (Vice President):
- Joseph Caito (BSIS)
- Andrea Miguel Colmenares Colantuoni (BSIS)
- Joshua Huang (BSM)
- Caleb Robbins (BSM)
- Jacob Shankar (BSM)
Additionally, Provost Sophia Maggelakis delivered keynote remarks and was recognized as an honorary inductee into the academic society.
Simultaneous to the induction ceremony, five additional students were celebrated as winners of a competition for creation of e-portfolios. The purpose of the e-portfolio is to spotlight academic and professional achievements, through digital media. The following students were recognized by the Management faculty:

- Tyler Tran (2nd Place)
- Robert Peguero (3rd Place)
- Dymari Frederick-Guillaume (3rd Place)
- Jacob Shankar (3rd Place)
